With over 15 years of dedicated experience in the education sector, I am a passionate and highly skilled Maths Tutor committed to helping students reach their full academic potential. My background spans from running successful in-person tuition centres as a Kumon and First Class Learning franchisee to my most recent decade-long role as an online tutor for Thinkster Maths. Throughout my career, I have successfully supported students ranging from age 5 to 16, ensuring they build a rock-solid foundation in mathematics while gaining the confidence needed to tackle school-level challenges and exams.

My approach to tutoring is deeply personalised and student-centred. I believe that every child learns differently, which is why I prioritise consulting with parents and the student to create bespoke study plans that address specific learning gaps. Whether working one-to-one or managing progress, I focus on making maths engaging and accessible. My academic background in Natural Sciences from the Open University, combined with professional certifications in Childcare and Education, allows me to bridge the gap between complex mathematical concepts and the developmental needs of young learners.

As a long-standing volunteer and team leader at my local Temple, I have managed large-scale events and mentored youth, reinforcing my belief in the power of patience, organisation, and encouragement.
