Apply to Become a Tutor

The CEC is currently welcoming applications from Maths, English, Science and 11+ tutors who would like to provide high-quality one-to-one tuition online.

 

We are particularly looking for tutors with genuine experience of teaching or tutoring the UK curriculum. We also welcome applications from UK-based graduates with strong subject knowledge who are earlier in their tutoring careers. Applicants must hold an appropriate DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one and must be able to complete Stripe Connect onboarding.

 

Tutors work on a self-employed basis, set their own lesson rates and availability, and choose how many pupils they wish to tutor. There is no monthly membership fee. The CEC retains 20% commission on lessons booked through the platform, and tutors keep 80%.

 

Please complete the application form below. If your application is successful, you will be invited to create a CEC member account. Once your account has been approved, you can complete your tutor profile, connect Stripe and add your availability. Completed profiles are reviewed before they become visible to parents.
