I am a friendly, enthusiastic and understanding Mathematics teacher with nearly 14 years worth of teaching experience. I have a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Manchester and previous to this I achieved a Distinction in MSc Mathematics from the University of Sussex as well as a First Class with Honours in BSc Mathematics from Loughborough University, A in Maths and Further Maths at A Level, and A* in GCSE Maths. As a teacher I hope to help students achieve their own personal goals.
My aim as a tutor is to learn the ways in which each individual student learns optimally, then to teach them in the way which they will understand best.
Sometimes a student requires a deep understanding of theory in order to proceed with examples, sometimes a student learns by example, I aim to provide the best method of teaching possible for each student, and when necessary aim to help with exam techniques, be it KS1-3, GCSE, A-Level, University level, and anything in-between!
Available mornings, daytime, evenings, and Sundays for in person or online lessons.
I have been tutoring for nearly 14 years and thousands of hours. I have had many students of varying ages and levels achieve great success. My goal is for my students to achieve their goals from primary level to adult learners.
In the past 14 years I have taught a wide variety of students, from junior school level all the way to university level! I specialise in GCSE and A-Level teaching but this has given me a good working knowledge of all relevant syllabuses and requirements of students.
I first found a flair for teaching from aiding many of my peers at school, college and university, this led me towards teaching as a profession.
