I’m an enthusiastic and fun online English teacher, IELTS test preparation and former Senior Language Assessment Consultant at British Council with more than 20 years of experience helping students from all over the world improve their English and IELTS test preparation.

I’ve been lucky to teach and assess at some of the best institutions in each country I’ve worked in — from leading language schools in Taiwan and Turkey, to the British Council in Shanghai - where I served as a Senior Language Assessment Consultant, and most recently at Glion and Les Roches, two of the world’s top hospitality and business universities in Switzerland. I designed and delivered their online Business Professional Communication programme for students from over 90 different countries.

I’m currently completing a PGCiE and MSc in International Education at the University of Bath. This helps me keep my teaching fresh, modern, and really effective for learners everywhere.

My teaching style is straightforward and fun: I believe learning English works best when lessons are engaging, full of energy, and spark curiosity. I bring plenty of humour, real-life examples, and interesting topics into every class so you actually enjoy the process and make fast progress.
