I am a highly motivated, accomplished Key Stage 2 teacher with over 20 years experience of successful teaching, motivating and achievement across a range of subjects.

I have been in my current post for over 15 years and I have led 2 maths departments during my career with a focus on set 1 mathematicians from Years 4-6. I have held weekly sessions of enrichment for the most able pupils in maths in both Years 5 & 6 and Years 3 & 4. There have been some notable achievements with children I have taught with high percentages of maths scholarships awarded to the Senior School and a number of gold awards to the highest achievers in the Primary Maths Challenge. The Junior Maths Challenge has often seen many Year 6 children outperform those in Year 7 & 8 too. We have reached the semi finals of the National Maths Quiz on one occasion and missed out on a second appearance by just 3 places.

I have also successfully tutored a number of children maths and verbal reasoning with grammar school entrance as the end goal.
